On Friday, November 2, 2018, California’s Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) announced that it had granted the state’s first annual cannabis licenses. The state agency had previously only issued temporary licenses which allowed cannabis businesses to operate while the state was reviewing annual applications.

We are proud to announce that among the first issued licenses is KVK client Omega Group, Inc. dba Dank Depot! Congratulations to Omega Group, Inc. and the handling attorneys and staff at KVK for a job well done!
Notably absent from the list of issued licenses is any cannabis business operating in Los Angeles. We understand that the city of Los Angeles continues to work on developing its annual application process. Our team will continue to monitor the city’s progress.
